Junos Software Service Release version 23.2R2-S4-EVO is now available for download from the Junos software download site

Download Junos Software Service Release:

  1. Go to Junos Platforms - Download Software page
  2. Input your product in the "Find a Product" search box
  3. From the Type/OS drop-down menu, select Junos SR
  4. From the Version drop-down menu, select your version
  5. Click the Software tab
  6. Select the Install Package as need and follow the prompts

We have removed the Junos Evolved software version 23.2R2-S4.7-EVO for PTX10004, PTX10008, and PTX10016 from the Software Download site. The recall is due to an isssue which PTX10016's SIB slot 3 and SIB slot 4 (SIB3 and SIB4) do not come on-line after upgrade to version 23.2R2-S4.7-EVO. While this issue affects PTX10008, and PTX10016, we included PTX10004 since the image is shared for the PTX10004, PTX10008, and PTX10016. This issue is being tracked via PR1900242.

Please discard the software image version 23.2R2-S4.7-EVO that you have downloaded. 

The replacement images are version 23.2R2-S4.8-EVO. These images have been posted on 2025-09-04.

The symptom impacting the SIB3 and SIB4 has the following alarms:
