Alert Description

We extend the Junos software FIPS End-of-Engineering (EOE) and End-of-Service (EOS) date for the following software versions and platforms:
  • Junos 19.1R3 FIPS and respective SRs for EX2300, EX3400, MX240-960, MX104, EX9200
  • Junos 19.2R3 FIPS and respective SRs for MX204, NFX150, SRX family except SRX345, SRX385, and SRX1500
  • Junos 19.3R3 FIPS and respective SRs for MX10003
  • Junos 19.4R3 FIPS and respective SRs for EX4300-48MP
  • Junos 20.2R3 FIPS and respective SRs for SRX345 SRX380 and SRX1500

Solution

After the formal End-Of-Support for Junos 19.1, 19.2, 19.3, 19.4, and 20.2; Juniper will provide software service releases (SRs) with fixes for SIRT vulnerabilities approximately every 6 to 12 months until the EOE/EOS date for the following releases:

  • 19.1, 19.2, 19.3 and 19.4 until 2025-09-30.
  • 20.2 until 2025-12-30

Modification History

2024-10-23 Update the EOE/EOS date to be:

  • 2025-09-30 for 19.1, 19.2, 19.3, and 19.4 - changed from 2024-09-30 (a 12 months extension)
  • 2025-12-30 for 20.2 - changed from 2024-12-30 (a 12 months extension)
