1665562EX4300-48MP: VC: NSSU aborted with Backup RE maybe in inconsistent state
Product-Group=junosvae

Product-Group=junos
On EX4300-MP with Virtual Chassis (VC) scenario, VXLAN enabled port might not learn MAC-address when having native-VLAN configured.
PR NumberSynopsisCategory: EX2300/3400 PFE
1633883The EX2300 may unexpectedly drop VOIP VLAN traffic after reboot
Product-Group=junos
On the EX2300 platform, the traffic drop may be observed on VOIP VLAN after the device reboot. Voice VLAN on EX2300 may not forward traffic correctly out of the interface when the device is either power-cycled / halted / power off or power on, and may not communicate with the default gateway.

Issue is seen while bringing up dual stack DHCP subscribers. Not able to bring DHCP subscribers, as subscribers are getting logged out automatically. facing difficulties in RC analysis, as events are received from different daemons.
PR NumberSynopsisCategory: Border Gateway Protocol
1635390BGP routes might be left stale on the router
Product-Group=junos
On all Junos and Junos Evolved platforms, if the BGP peer goes down, and the very last route in the list is marked as a high priority, BGP might assume no more routes to delete, causing routes to be stale.
1643178On all junos platforms, when a route is received with broadcast address as next-hop, the platform may not consider it as an invalid route and drop the traffic intended for the destination
Product-Group=junos
On all Junos platforms, in an eBGP scenario, if a route is received with a broadcast address next hop, it successfully programs it into the RIB (Routing Information Base), and eventually the route gets programmed into the FIB (Forwarding Information Base) as well. The treating of an invalid next hop as a valid one makes the platform try and fail when traffic for that route is received.
1664168The v4 prefixes might not be advertised over the BGPv6 sessions
Product-Group=junos
On all MX platforms with BGP rib-sharding and update-threading configured, the v4 prefixes might not be advertised over the BGPv6 sessions.

1661802The l2circuit backup might not get reverted to primary in rare condition
Product-Group=junos
On ACX710/ACX5448 platforms in the layer2 circuit scenario, if the primary path is down due to any reason, the backup circuit takes the mastership and ideally, once the primary path is up, mastership is to be reverted. But, in rare cases, the mastership gets reverted but the label might get lost from PFE and results in traffic loss for the l2circuit connection. However, deactivating and activating the affected l2circuit configuration could help in restoring the services.

1635801ACX710/5448 working as PE stops forwarding L3VPN traffic after core-facing link flapping
Product-Group=junos
When ACX710/5448 series platforms work as PE nodes in L3VPN environment, it might stop forwarding L3VPN traffic after core-facing link flaps, due to a race condition that happens during L3VPN NH programming in PFE.

Product-Group=junos
On Junos Evolved PTX platforms, class-of-service (CoS) values associated with default code-point aliases are inconsistent with Junos. Due to this, incoming packets may get associated with incorrect CoS servicing level (forwarding class and packet loss priority (PLP)).

PR NumberSynopsisCategory: Express pfe Mclag
1666399Static MACs are not programmed after reboot, resulting in floods of unicast traffic
Product-Group=junos
After rebooting, we see that the link does not have a static MAC address. This results in unicast traffic flooding and sometimes traffic drops for this static MAC.
PR NumberSynopsisCategory: Enhanced Broadband Edge support for firewall
1615373The counter might show double value when chassis enhanced-policer is configured
Product-Group=junos
On MX Series platforms, Enhanced policer counter output shows double value when policer is applied in the ingress direction. The output shows normal when the filter is applied in the egress direction.

PR NumberSynopsisCategory: lacp protocol
1599029Uneven traffic distribution might be observed between member links of LAG
Product-Group=junos
On PTX Series routers with LAG scenario where a prefix is advertised by two devices that are connected to the same upstream device, if the traffic with explicit null MPLS label from the upstream device to this prefix is shifted away from one of the devices by any means (like withdrawing the route advertising or disconnecting all its LAG links to the upstream device), the uneven traffic distribution might be seen on a few member links of the LAG on another device. This is due to an improper hash algorithm for LAG, which might cause performance degradation.

1617620[mvpn] QFX10k : Auto-RP is going down after some time on QFX10k in NGMVPN scenario
Product-Group=junos
Auto-RP packets arriving on LSI interface was not handled in case of QFX, because of which only the first packet was getting punted to CPU and the rest packets were getting discarded at Network Input because the eth header and mpls header was getting stripped off. To handle this case we have added a new sequence type for ucode instruction for AUTO-RP packets.

1646894Restarting one of the FPCs may cause traffic loss in QFX VC scenario
Product-Group=junosvae
On QFX with the Virtual Chassis (VC) scenario, when traffic coming into master FPC and going out from the backup FPC, reboot the backup FPC, the master FPC still thinks the backup link is present, and "show lacp interface" also continues showing the backup link as collecting / distributing. Therefore, master FPC continues sending the echo reply through the backup link which fails since the backup is powered off, which might lead to a traffic drop.

155760720.4R1.3:nfx350ha::Tcp session is not establised on DCPFE resart on primary node
Product-Group=junos
On NFX350 HA systems, when FPC0 (when node0 is Primary) or FPC7 (when node1 is primary) is restarted (e.g., with CLI command "request chassis fpc slot <> restart node local" or due to dcpfe cores on the primary), that may cause FPC1 or FPC8 to restart, which might cause the pre-existing TCP sessions to break and not get reestablished by itself - the TCP sessions might need to be manually reestablished.

1634245NFX350 : Observed localhost.ovs-vswitchd cores in NFX350 boxes
Product-Group=junos
This is a mistaken PR. The ovs-vswitchd receives a signal to save its core file during the system shutdown. This is a timing issue when using a script to perform automated regression testing. Shutting down the NFX350 manually does not cause the ovs-vswitchd to save its core file.

1501817Traffic might get dropped or discarded in the fast-reroute scenario
Product-Group=junos
In the platform using INH (indirect next hop, such as Unilist) as route next hop type for multiple paths scenario (such as BGP PIC or ECMP), the session fast-reroute might be enabled in Packet Forwarding Engines (PFEs). When the version-id of session-id of INH is above 256, the PFE might not respond to session update, which might cause the session-id permanently to be stuck with the weight of 65535 in PFE. It might lead PFE to have a different view of Unilist against load-balance selectors. Then either the BGP PIC or the ECMP-FRR might not work properly and traffic might be dropped or silently discarded.

Product-Group=junos
On MX-VC (Virtual Chassis) platforms with MS-MPC or SPC3 service cards and AMS(Aggregated Multi-Service), traffic on the line card in the backup chassis may not be load-balanced properly due to timing conditions. This works well on the line card in the master chassis. There might be traffic loss when interfaces are not properly balanced.
