Alert Description

Junos Software Service Release version 21.1R1-S1-EVO is now available for download from the Junos software download site
Download Junos Software Service Release:
  1. Go to  Junos Platforms - Download Software page
  2. Input your product in the "Find a Product" search box
  3. From the Type/OS drop-down menu, select  Junos SR
  4. From the Version drop-down menu, select your version
  5. Click the Software tab
  6. Select the Install Package as need and follow the prompts

Solution

1580374 FPC is stuck in an online state and seen continuously rebooting during ISSU
Product-Group=evo 		During a restart-based upgrade (request system software add restart), if an FPC is offline at the start of the upgrade, the upgrade flow will transition the FPC to online. With this issue, the routing engine will fail to add this FPC to the allowed upgrade members, and (1) FPC will continuously reboot itself waiting for the upgrade to be done, and (2) Upgrade flow will not converge waiting for all nodes to be ready.

Product-Group=evo 		ZL device init fails in this release. Hence SyncE feature will not work. This issue is fixed in 21.1R2
PR Number Synopsis Category: ACX EVO platform software
1585285 Zeroize on Secondary SSD can wipe the images along with data on Primary SSD
Product-Group=evo 		'request system zeroize' removes all images other than the current image on the media on which the system has booted. It will remove all images on the other media (disk2 if system booted from disk1 or disk1 if system booted from disk2). This leaves the media unbootable.
