Alert Description

Junos Software Service Release version 20.3R1-S2.11-EVO has been replaced with 20.3R1-S2.12 on the Junos software download site.

Junos Software Service Release version 20.3R1-S2.12-EVO is now available for download from the Junos software download site
Download Junos Software Service Release:
  1. Go to  Junos Platforms - Download Software page
  2. Input your product in the "Find a Product" search box
  3. From the Type/OS drop-down menu, select  Junos SR
  4. From the Version drop-down menu, select your version
  5. Click the Software tab
  6. Select the Install Package as need and follow the prompts

Solution

NOTE: Due to a software defect causing the Class Of Service process (COSD) to restart repeatedly, the previous version of 20.3R1-S2-EVO software has been RECALLED and replaced with a new version.

Junos Software service Release version 20.3R1-S2.11-EVO is now RECALLED and REPLACED with 20.3R1-S2.12-EVO

The RECALLED software can be identified by the string "20.3R1-S2.11-EVO" in the image name.
For example,  junos-evo-install-ptx-x86-64- 20.3R1-S2.11-EVO .iso is the RECALLED ISO install package of the 20.3R1-S2-EVO image.
If you have downloaded the RECALLED images, please do not use them.

The new "spin" release of 20.3R1-S2-EVO is available with the fix for the COSD issue with the released identifiable with "20.3R1-S2.12-EVO".
This SRN is updated with the new spin number - "20.3R1-S2.12-EVO" of the Junos Evolved software package. The COSD issue is being tracked via PR1548014.
