Alert Description

 This bulletin is to notify Juniper Networks customers that Junos Service Release 12.3R12-S3 has been released.

Solution

 This bulletin is to notify Juniper Networks customers that Junos Service Release 12.3R12-S3 has been released. Please note that this release is applicable for EX2200, EX3200, EX3300, EX4200, EX4500, EX4550, EX6200, EX8200 and EX9200 switches. This service release is based on Junos 12.3R12 and only includes the problem report (PR) fixes listed below.

PR 793135 - Sflow cores with continuous sflow scheduler slip messages
PR 834086 - Sflow memory leak with core
PR 874106 - ESWD_DAI_FAILED messages for ARP probe packets
PR 924599 - Sflow configuration might lead to memory leak and result in a sflowd core dump
PR 1138059 - Packet forwarding engine manager (pfem) process might crash and generate a core dump on EX8200
PR 1172326 - Slax script not running consistently on EX2200 with event-options time-interval set in script
PR 1183154 - Management daemon process might generate a core dump when attempting to add # followed by login message on EX4200
PR 1185402 - RSTP enabled interface goes down when BPDU block is configured on xstp-disabled interfaces
PR 1185678 - Vlan interface might get a MAC address 00:00:00:00:00:01 when routing engine fails over 
PR 1189585 - Deactivating ERPS configuration in one node might cause the node to lose connectivity
PR 1190007 - EX Series Switch acting as an ERPS node ignores ERPS PDUs from other nodes
PR 1193647 - Wrong source MAC address for L3 switched packets after configuration change
