Alert Description

Do not upgrade to Junos Space 14.1R1.9 after applying the Junos Space Bash Security Update version 1  to Junos Space 13.1Rx or 13.3Rx.
The upgrade from Junos Space 13.1Rx or 13.3Rx to Junos Space 14.1R1.9 will fail and hang if the version 1 Bash Security Update patch is installed.

This issue only affects upgrades to 14.1R1.9 specifically from previous versions of Space AFTER the BASH patch version 1 has been applied.
It does not affect new installs of 14.1R1.9.

Solution

Juniper found an issue which causes the upgrade to Junos Space 14.1R1.9 to fail when Junos Space Bash Security Update version 1 is installed.
Juniper has released Junos Space Bash Security Update version 2 to resolve the issue and has removed version 1.

Update Junos Space 13.1Rx or 13.3Rx with the Junos Space Bash Security Update v2 before upgrading to Junos Space 14.1R1.
Junos Space Bash Security Update version 2 may be installed over the top of the previous version 1 patch.
