Six new templates are being added to the IDP policy templates.
Juniper Networks will be releasing an update to the predefined policy templates on May 27, 2014. This update will add six new IDP policy templates. These additional templates have been designed for ease of use, balancing performance and coverage, and will become the recommended starting point for customers to use in the future. All customers are highly encouraged to begin using one of the new policy templates. The new policy templates can be implemented via NSM, Junos Space, or Junos CLI. Following are the new IDP policy templates : 1GB memory devices: SRX100H, SRX210H/HE, SRX220H and SRX240H
Policy Templates for 1GB devices: Client Protection -1G Server Protection - 1G Client and Server Protection - 1G
Policy Templates for 2GB devices: Client Protection Server Protection Client and Server Protection Following are the existing policy templates (legacy policies) that are no longer being recommended: DMZ Services DNS Server File Server Getting Started IDP Default Recommended Web Server
