Alert Description

This bulletin is to notify Juniper Networks customers that Junos Service Release 13.2X50-D18 , for EX4300 Switches , has been released.

Please note that this Service Release is only applicable to the EX4300.

Solution

This bulletin is to notify Juniper Networks customers that Junos Service Release 13.2X50-D18, for EX4300 Switches , has been released.

This Service Release is based on JunOS 13.2.X50-D17, and only includes the problem report (PR) fixes listed below.

  • PR 951771 - EX4300 Virtual Chassis Ports (VCP) may go down upon reboot
  • PR 939154 - EX4300 Virtual Chassis failover may cause ~30 sec packet loss
  • PR 941205 - EX4300 PoE (Power over Ethernet) may stop working on some of the ports
  • PR 954625 - Some MAC entries might get deleted and relearned every second
  • PR 945569 - IPv6 route might not be programmed correctly in hardware
  • PR 948718 - L2cpd process might crash due to memory leak
  • PR 949714 - ISIS packets are dropped by EX4300 when it is configured in L2 mode
  • PR 951637 - pfex process on EX4300 may coredump due to memory leak
  • PR 953664 - mbuf memory exhaustion may be seen on EX4300
  • PR 942114 - Traffic reaching CPU using reject route may affect local ssh and telnet sessions
  • PR 955067 - After collecting gcore,executing "ls -l" command on shell may cause kernel crash
