PTP synchronization failure after reboot when PTP is configured over an AE interface
Product-Group=evo
On Junos OS Evolved ACX platforms with PTP (Precision Time Protocol) G.8275.1 profile configured over a LAG (Link Aggregation Group) interface, PTP will remain in the Acquiring state following a device reboot or RE (Routing Engine) switchover. As a result, the hardware programming operation fails, preventing PTP from completing synchronization and transitioning out of the Acquiring state, resulting in PTP timing inaccuracies and impacting time-sensitive services.
