Junos Software Service Release version 24.4R2-S4-EVO is now available for download from the Junos software download site

Download Junos Software Service Release:

  1. Go to Junos Platforms - Download Software page
  2. Input your product in the "Find a Product" search box
  3. From the Type/OS drop-down menu, select Junos SR
  4. From the Version drop-down menu, select your version
  5. Click the Software tab
  6. Select the Install Package as need and follow the prompts

This can result in deleting IA_NA/IA_PD binding and route to get deleted for that subscriber only. This causes one of the leg for IA_PD or IA_NA to go down for that subscriber, which can result in traffic impact for that leg.

On Junos Evolved PTX platforms, FPC (Flexible PIC Concentrator) major errors can be seen after FPC restart/offline or multiple concurrent PFE (Packet Forwarding Engine) restart/offline in a highly-scaled scenario that can result in the PFEs failing to come back online. This is due to offline timeout, FPC go into fault state causing services to impact. This is a rare case scenario.
