Captive Portal / HTTP RedirectJunos 22.4

MS-MPC hardware was announced EOL in April 2023 with the Last Software Version of Junos 22.4. With this EOL, we deprecate MS-MPC, and SPC3 support for the "Captive Portal/HTTP Redirect" feature. The  RE-based HTTP Redirect provides equivalent functionality without requiring the MS-MPC or the MS-SPC3.

BNG-based FWA over GTP-c TunnelsJunos 24.4MX BNG support for integrated SAEGW for 4G FWA services is being deprecated with LSV of JUNOS 24.4. Multilink PPP (MLPPP)Junos 25.2 MX BNG support for Multilink Point-to-Point Protocol (MLPPP) is being deprecated with a LSV of JUNOS 25.2. This applies to the following MX line cards: MPC5E. (see also note 1 below)

 

Note 1: MX BNG support for MLPPP feature is only supported on MPC2E and MPC5E. The MPC2E has been EOL with the last support software version of Junos 21.2. The MPC5E has not reached EOL at the time of this TSB publication. The support of MPC5E with MLPPP Subscriber services will end with Junos 25.2
