Error "MAC-RADIUS User 00000000760 authentication failed in MacAddress 0000000007:60 interface ge-0/0/4.0 vlan (null)" is received
For all EX & QFX switches supported in Mist.
An error "MAC-RADIUS User 00000000760 authentication failed in MacAddress 0000000007:60 interface ge-0/0/4.0 vlan (null)" is seen on the switch insights.
To review the reason of failure you can access Organization>>Access>>Auth Policies, and on the right side, access the option that says "show NAC events"
Once you access the NAC events, you can filter by MAC address in this part, and, as you can see, the error is because the device does not hit any rule, this is the issue on this scenario, but the errors may vary.
To fix this specific error, you need to add a policy and rule for this MAC, you need to access Organization>> Access>> Auth Policy Labels and add a policy.
Then, you need to access Organization>> Access>> Auth Policy, and create a rule for the policy we just created:
