Description

 This SSR is new out of the box running 5.4.4 code. It was successfully claimed but has never been in a Connected state and has never been put in a different organization or claimed previously.


The 128T-mist-agent service is not running properly:

128T-mist-agent[31217]: DBG> 2025-05-06T19:13:15.423801Z G90 systemctl.go:94: 128T-mist-agent-monitoring restart failed: err: exit status 1, output:

128T-mist-agent[31217]: ERR unable to start monitoring service: unable to reload service 128T-mist-agent-monitoring: exit status 1

 

Reboot and restart of the service did not resolve the issue. The appliance can hit the gateway and DNS is resolving properly.

Symptoms

Unable to get Connected status in Mist

128T-mist-agent not running properly

Solution

Released the SSR from Mist and after the factory reset completed added it back to mist with no problems.
