Description

IPv6 neighborship between CE devices is not established over L2CKT 


Topology:

CE1-----PE1----P-----PE2-----CE2

L2CKT between PE1 and PE2
LDP tunneling over RSVP LSP's
LDP enabled on PE1 and PE2
IPV4 ping is working between CE1 and CE2
IPv6 ping is failing between CE1 and CE2
IPV6 Ping is failing because there is no IPV6 neighborship.


Symptoms

IPV6 Failing between CE devices over L2CKT (L2 Circuit) where as IPV4 Ping is successful.

Solution

This is a Software defect addressed in the later versions.
