Can not establish ISIS neighborship between CEs over L2CKT in Junos Evo

 

Topology:

CE1-----PE1----P-----PE2-----CE2

L2CKT between PE1 and PE2
LDP tunneling over RSVP LSP's
LDP enabled on PE1 and PE2
ISIS is enabled between CE1 and CE2

In this case, ISIS adjacency between CE1 and CE2 is not established.

Symptoms

ISIS adjacency between CE devices over L2CKT (L2 Circuit) is not being established.

Solution

This is a Software defect addressed in the later versions.
