QFX5120 switches used on an EVPN-VXLAN Bridged Overlay setup were observed to flood the ARP reply to the remote CE.

On enabling the CRB-PROXY-MAC knob, the Leaf switch accommodates the ARP-Refresh, during this the leaf sends a ARP probe to the CE, in return the CE sends reply, this reply sent by local CE was seen flooded to the remote CE.

This behaviour was reported on JunOS: 23.4R2.13.

Engineering was engaged to identify the root cause. As per the Engineering feedback, the fix for this is available

in Junos:22.2R3-S7 Junos:24.4R2 Junos:25.2R1, with no workaround.
