This article explains the issue of Showing the wrong/previous interface description when we change the service name in Configlet.

While applying the configlet to the device, observed that when selecting a different VRF, the interface value updates accordingly. However, the interface description does not change. The description is only updated when the same interface is reselected from the dropdown.

As per the screenshot, the interface description didn't change even after the service name and interface name had changed.

As a workaround, we need to change the interface description manually.

As a permanent solution, please upgrade the Network Management Platform 24.1 R4 or later
