This article explains the scenario where Security Director removes Proxy ARP settings while updating a NAT policy and provides steps to prevent this behavior.
• Proxy ARP settings configured on the device are removed.
• NAT policy updates complete successfully, but Proxy ARP configuration is deleted.
Disable Proxy ARP management options in Security Director.
1. Log in to the Security Director UI.
2. Navigate to:
Configure > NAT Policies
3. Edit the affected NAT policy.
4. Disable the following options:
• Security Director manages Proxy ARP
• Auto ARP Configuration
5. Save the changes and redeploy the NAT policy.
After disabling these options, Security Director will no longer remove Proxy ARP settings during NAT policy updates.
