Solution

  • The message "chassis No Redundant Power" indicates that the power remaining in the system is less than the individual connected Power Supply Modules (PSMs). This can occur when the system's power capacity is insufficient to support the existing load, leading to the disabling of power redundancy.

 

  • Since PSM is offline,  PSM itself may be faulty, not providing the proper voltage to the system.

 

Perform the below troubleshooting action during a maintenance window:

  • Do a physical inspection:  Check for the power connectivity and check LED status.
  • Reseat/Replace the power cable.
  • Restart the affected device or remove/re-insert a power supply during a maintenance window, then monitor for the alarm. 
  • If the issue persist need to replace the faulty power supply with new one.
