The customer has a QFX5120 where the serial number on the outside of the box does not match the serial number displayed when running the "show chassis hardware detail" command.

The QFX5120's serial number label on the physical chassis shows XH492, whereas the serial number from the "show chassis hardware detail" output shows XH493.

This discrepancy could pose a problem for future case reporting, as if the box goes down, the serial number on the outside will not match the internal one.

Additionally, upon checking the entitlement for both serial numbers:

The internal serial number (from "show chassis hardware detail") is registered under the customer's account.

JTAC requested the customer to open an admin ticket. The CCARE team assisted in shipping the correct external label to resolve this issue.
