This article explains how to push device configuration using device templates in the Junos Space Network Management Platform.

• Users want to update or push device configuration using Junos Space templates.

• Configuration changes need to be applied consistently across one or more devices.

Follow the steps below to push device configuration using a Quick Device Template.

1. Log in to the Junos Space Network Management Platform.

2. Navigate to:

Devices > Device Templates > Templates

3. Click the Plus (+) icon and select Create Quick Template.

4. Enter the Template Name, and select the Device Family and Device Version.

5. Select CLI-based Template Editor, enter the required device configuration, and click OK.

6. Click Save and Assign/Deploy.

7. Select the target device(s) from the list and click Next.

8. Click Validate on Device.

9. Once validation is successful, click Next, then Finish to deploy the configuration.

Important: Always validate the template on the device before deployment to avoid configuration errors.
