Description

  • Switch has been rebooted, ports have been bounced.
  • DPC isn't identifying the device and adding to the correct VLAN.

Symptoms

  • The switch wasn't learning any macs on the affected ports.
  • There was also no LLDP neighbors learned in those ports either.

Solution

If there're no mac addresses learned and no LLDP entries, DPC will not work.

Upgrading from 22.4R3-S2 to 22.4R3-S5 resolved the issue.
