Customer uses the below OID to monitor traffic drop from line card to fabric:
jnxFabricSourceStatisticsDropPackets
jnxFabricSourceStatisticsDropBytes
jnxFabricSourceStatisticsDropPps
jnxFabricSourceStatisticsDropBps
But in the condition of increasing drops gradually, the device always return value 0 for these above OID.
For OID jnxFabricSourceStatisticsPps and jnxFabricSourceStatisticsBps, we still use the value 65535 to represent fabric and get the correct value.

The source type is always line card for the stats & per doc 65535 is only seen when per plane stats are not available.
These stats are always between the source fpc & destination fpc. Hence 65535 doesn't come in for fabric stats.
In "show chassis fabric plane", we have source/destination FPCs in output & stats are accumulated in relation to each source-destination combination.

65535 is for source/destination-type as SWITCH-FABRIC.In Fabric we have two type of stats:
1. FiFo stats (Fo: PFE to Fabric & Fi: Fabric to PFE): This will be have one source/destination as SWITCH-FABRIC.
2. Queue Stats: (PFE—PFE): This will be have both source and destination as Linecards.
Based on what you have asked it looks like FiFo stats output. And this can be seen in MX480.
While for FiFo stats we do not have any RE CLI o/p, for Queue stats following Junos RE CLI o/p can be used to verify o/p:
show class-of-service fabric statistics (PFE---PFE statistics)
jnxFabricSourceStatisticsPps - FiFo stats (Fo: PFE to Fabric & Fi: Fabric to PFE): This will be have one source/destination as SWITCH-FABRIC. - No CLI
jnxFabricSourceStatisticsDroppps - Queue Stats: (PFE—PFE): This will be have both source and destination as Linecards - "show class-of-service fabric statistics"
