Description

This article explains the default session timers on SSR devices and how to configure custom timeout values.

Solution

  1. Configure Session Timeout:

    • Navigate to Authority → Session Types.

    • Create new session types or modify existing ones based on your requirements.

    • Set the desired timeout value for each session type.

  2. Default Behavior:

    • If no specific setting exists under Permissions → Session Type, the system uses default session timer values.

    • Settings under Authority → Session Types are global and apply to all managed SSR devices.

  3. Default Timeout Values:

    • TCP: 1,900,000 ms

    • UDP: 180,000 ms

    • ICMP: 10,000 ms
