Description

A "fabric high power" SNMP trap generated by a Juniper device, specifically from the CHASSISD component, indicates that the network fabric within the device is currently drawing a significant amount of power, exceeding a predefined threshold, and is considered a potential issue requiring attention

Symptoms

- observing "fabric high power" snmp trap generated on Juniper mx960

Solution

Collect the below outputs and verify the power supply and CPU utilisation

>show system processes extensive
>show chassis environment cb ( 3 times with a gap of 2 minutes)
