Customer was facing MAC learning issues on evpn tables, after one of the ACX7K of the pair was upgrade from 23.2R2-EVO to 23.4R2-EVO.

They were running Single/Multi Homed services on this pair.

We were suspecting this to be related to service type “vlan-aware” used in config for the instances

This is supported only from 23.4R2 & is not supported on 23.2R2.

The issue was resolved after upgrading the 2nd device as well to 23.4R2, which confirmed the suspicion.
