Customer is going to install QDD-400G-LR4-10 on our router MX10008 & had below queries:

1) This SPF is compatible with JNP10K-LC9600 & can be installed normally?

2) Their current software version is version 21.4R3-S7.8 , can we installed the SPFs now or we need to upgrade to version 22?

3) Any license we need to install?

4) Anything else I need to take care of while installing the SFPs?

5) If license needs to be installed, then please share the license name.

Pls find the answers to the queries reg QDD-400G-LR4-10.

1. This model is compatible with JNP10K-LC9600 & can be installed normally.
2. This model is supported from 21.4R1 on MX10008 & hence your version is compatible
3. As per file attached I dont see any 400G used or licenses for ADV bandwidth added. Hence you need S-MX-4C-P1-D-P license per 400G to be used (6 nos for 6 *400G).
4. As mentioned in 1st point, its normal installation.
5. As updated in 3rd point, S-MX-4C-P1-D-P is the license for 1*400G.
