  • The customer has encountered the following critical error.

  • After the major error, switch power cycled unexpectedly. Alarms have cleared:-


Fans FPC 0 Fan Tray 0 OK Spinning at normal speed

FPC 0 Fan Tray 1 OK Spinning at normal speed

FPC 0 Fan Tray 2 OK Spinning at normal speed


  • However, still shows with Failure status:

Solution

Reseated the fan. If the issue persists, determine if the fault lies with the fan itself or its slot. Swap the suspect fan with a known-working unit. If the issue follows the fan, the fan is faulty. If the issue remains with the slot, the slot may be defective. Open a TAC case for further assistance
