Is there a way for us to disconnect and reconnect the BGP session?

 


Solution

  • If a BGP connection is established and you want to disconnect and re-establish, then you can use "clear bgp" under testing tools.
  • From the BGP summary output, get the neighbour IP
  • Go to "Clear BGP", enter the copied neighbour IP, and click on "Clear BGP"
  • Check the BGP summary again.
