Description

This article discusses the best practice to follow while calculating the PF value and when converting the values to KVA or other units.

Symptoms

If your installed PEM unit is with the following model,

PDM             Rev 03  740-013110  QCS1829509Z      Power Distribution Module

PEM 0           Rev 11  740-027760  QCS1828N0MJ      PS 4.1kW; 200-240V AC in

PEM 1           Rev 11  740-027760  QCS1828N02B      PS 4.1kW; 200-240V AC in

PEM 2           Rev 01  740-063047  QCS2449N02Z      PS 4.1kW; 200-240V AC in

PEM 3           Rev 11  740-027760  QCS1828N0DK      PS 4.1kW; 200-240V AC in

System:

 Zone 0:

     Capacity:         4100 W (maximum 4100 W)

     Allocated power:  2226 W (1874 W remaining)

     Actual usage:     1653 W

 Zone 1:

     Capacity:         4100 W (maximum 4100 W)

     Allocated power:  1772 W (2328 W remaining)

     Actual usage:     1425 W

 Total system capacity: 8200 W (maximum 8200 W)

 Total remaining power: 4202 W

Solution
