• SFP is inserted on device and it is not detected and when checked for interfaces we see below error
• No SFP will be seen on "show chassis hardware" output

• Kindly reseat the SFP/QSFP and check if the SFP is detecting
• Swap the SPF with any other working SFP and see if the SFP is detected
• Try the SFP in another port to check if its getting detected in other ports
• Check the below command output from shell, if the SFP is getting detected

start shell

#show sfp list >>>>>>to check of SFP's

#show qsfp list >>>>>>command to check QSFP's

• If the SFP/QSFP is not detected even after doing any steps above reboot the chassis or FPC [in case of modular chassis]
• If issue still persists after rebooting the device, open a case with JTAC
