Product Compatibility Details

For customers requiring a CFP 100G pluggable transceiver, we recommend the following model:

  • CFP 100G Pluggable Transceiver
    • Specification: Non-tunable, 1550.92nm, Single Mode Fiber (SMF), up to 80KM
    • Compatibility: Compatible with the specified hardware and most of the Line cards. 

Note: The CFP-100GBASE-ZR model, while compatible with the required hardware, is currently marked as End of Life (EOL) but not End of Support (EOS). We advise exploring alternative options due to its EOL status.

    • Use Case: Suitable for ultra-long-range connections, such as inter-city links or large regional network extensions.
    • Wavelength: Typically 1550nm, designed for extended transmission with optimized signal quality.
    • Example: CFP-100GBASE-ZR (Note: EOL status as of this update)
  • SR (Short Reach)

    • Distance: Usually supports up to 100–300 meters on multi-mode fiber (MMF).
