• The JNP-SFPP-10GE-T interface stays up on the peer switches even when the QFX5120-48Y switch is rebooted using the command request system reboot at now, as observed from the peer switch's interface status.
• This issue does not occur when the interface is administratively shut down or when the switch is completely powered off.
• This behaviour is specific to the JNP-SFPP-10GE-T SFP on the QFX5120-48Y.

When monitoring the QFX interface from the peer switch, the port generally remains up. Running a continuous ping may show minimal drops, with about 1 or 2 packets lost.

This fault has been fixed in junos:24.2R2 junos:24.4R1 and later releases
