One or more of the following packet capture filters may be found to be enabled on your SSR router


arp

icmp and not icmp[icmptype] == 8 and not icmp[icmptype] == 0

port 67 || port 68

tcp port 179

udp port 1280

Solution

When MIST is monitoring an SSR, MIST will add one or more of the following packet capture filters to monitor and detect environmental issues

 

  • Filter Name
    • Filter expression

 

  • arp
    • arp
  • icmp
    • icmp and not icmp[icmptype] == 8 and not icmp[icmptype] == 0
  • dhcp
    • port 67 || port 68
  • bgp
    • tcp port 179
  • svr
    • udp port 1280
