Dynamic tunneling is a method used to create tunnels dynamically based on certain conditions, rather than configuring them statically. Once the migration is done, there should be a reboot performed. But after reboot, if the dynamic tunnels do not come up many times.
Once the migration is done, there should be a reboot performed. But after reboot, the dynamic tunnels do not come up in many cases, then collect the below outputs from the customer pre and post-reboot and find out the discrepancies.
Collect the below output from the customer in a MW:
cprod -A fpc0 -c 'set dcbcm bcmshell "l3 egress show"' | egrep "(Entry|100004)" show route summary show bgp summary show mpls lsp show route table inet.3 show route table inet.3 <IP> extensive show route table inet.3 <IP> extensive show route <tunnel-endpoint ip> extensive show dynamic-tunnels database terse show dynamic-tunnels database show dynamic-tunnels database summary
Kindly collect the output of the above commands once the IP-IP tunnels are up. Perform the reboot, and again collect the above logs to provide to JTAC Support for further investigation.Doing this will help us in understanding the discrepancies pre and post reboot.
