KB document why NTP client to servet connectivity don't use configured source IP in ACX7024 and solution for te issue

Symptoms

Unable to select source interface for the NTP traffic. The route to the NTP servers go via an firewall, and we can see that the source-ip the router is using is another interface then the one I specify in the config.

 

set system ntp server X.X.X.X version 4

 

set system ntp server X.X.X.X routing-instance Z

 

set system ntp source-address Y.Y.Y.Y routing-instance Z

 

Solution
