On 22.2R3-S2.8 JunOS HGOE mode was showing under > show virtual-chassis mode.

HGOE mode supported Junos OS Release 23.1R1, EX4400-24X and EX4400 Switches can be connected as a single VC using HGoE mode. However on 22.2R3-S2.8 JunOS HGOE mode was showing.

As a workaround you can convert the ports to network ports with > request virtual-chassis mode network-port and reboot the device to take the effect.

 Later you can disable the network-port with > request virtual-chassis mode network-port disable and reboot the device to take the effect and later it was seen that hgoe mode was disappeared and under /config/hgoe_mode file the bit was showing as 0.
