Description

Customer observed continously rpd core dump on the backup RE and eventually killed the rpd process.

Symptoms

RPD keeps core dumping on the backup RE while the telemetry is streaming and eventually stops running. Restarting of the routing process doesnt resolve the problem. Only reboot the RE can clear the issue.

Solution

This problem had been reported by Juniper systest team already. The fix had been committed into following releases:
