This article describes the behavior of the timeout option in the fallback settings of the web-filtering.

• The requests from the clients reach SRX and are checked with the TSC (ThreatSeeker Cloud) server.
  If the TSC does not respond in time to the categorization request from the device, then the original client request is blocked or permitted according to the timeout fallback setting.
• If the TSC is considered to be inactive/unreachable, subsequent requests and pending requests are either blocked or passed according to the server connectivity fallback setting until new connections to the TSC are opened again.
• The timeout value is checked before considering the fallback settings.
  Once this limit is reached, fallback mode settings are applied.
• The default timeout value is 15 seconds.
