This article explains how to delete the policy safely from the Security Director under Configure > Standard policy/Unified policy/NAT policy etc

Solution

Here are the steps to be followed

 

  • Take a VM snapshot/Database backup.
  • Unassign the device from the policy
  • Delete the policy.
