Description

After upgrading an SRX345 chassis cluster to Junos OS 23.2R2.21, licenses on Node0 may appear in an invalid state even though the license entitlement is valid.

In the observed behavior, a UTM license was shown as invalid and the expected IDP license information was not displayed.

Symptoms

Solution

 

  • If the license remains in an invalid state after the upgrade, perform the following checks

     
  • Reboot the affected node if not already done.
  • Revoke and reinstall the existing license if needed.
  • If the issue persists, install a newly generated or reissued license.
