This resolution KB article addresses customer inquiries regarding the compatibility of different Juniper Secure Connect client versions with supported Junos OS releases. It provides guidance on identifying the appropriate JSC version for a given Junos release to ensure successful deployment, feature support, and optimal interoperability between the client and the gateway.

    Solution

    It was confirmed that Juniper Secure Connect support was introduced starting with Junos OS version 20.3R1 for Windows, macOS, and Android platforms.

    For deployments running Junos OS releases earlier than 21.2R1, it is recommended to use JSC version 22.4.13.10 to ensure compatibility and stable operation.

    For devices running Junos OS 21.2R1 and later, both older and the latest publicly available JSC releases are supported. Customers can therefore select an appropriate JSC version based on their operational requirements while maintaining compatibility with the underlying Junos OS release.
