This article describes about the probable cause for the amber led appearing on the secondary node of chassis cluster after being added to cluster.

When you connect the HA cables and device has been added as primary-secondary, however you observe an amber light on the secondary node.

If you encounter the above situation, make sure you halt the node1 while connecting the HA cables and reboot the node after connecting the cables.

Below is the command for halting the node:

root>request system halt
Pressing any key will reboot the device.
