This KB provides different workaround solution to clear Application mib2d alarm on ACK7K

Symptoms

Customer might observe Application mib2d alarm on ACK 7K

 

root@router> show system alarms no-forwarding

2 alarms currently active
Alarm time               Class  Description
XXXX-YY-ZZ 18:04:42 IST  Major  Application mib2d fail on node Re0




 

Solution

Below step can help to resolve the issue, all steps need to be performed in downtime approved MW

step 1:-
  > set system processes  mib2d disable
  > delete system processes  mib2d disable

step 2 :- Restart mib2d process

restart mib-process from CLI

or
systemctl start mib2d from shell

step 3 :- Restart the router
