This KB addresses the issue where the below alarm logs are observed related to PSU on QFX10k switch :

The alarm logs are observed for one of the PEM on QFX10k switch.

• The power supply on which the issue was seen was seen in check state when looked into environment output.

   Power Supply 0         OK     31 degrees C / 87 degrees F

   Power Supply 1         OK     36 degrees C / 96 degrees F

   Power Supply 2         OK     38 degrees C / 100 degrees F

   Power Supply 3         Check

   Power Supply 4         OK     36 degrees C / 96 degrees F

   Power Supply 5         OK     38 degrees C / 100 degrees F

• Below error logs is observed for the concerned PEM in chassisd logs :

Solution :

• Please try to reseat the concerned PEM and check if that helps to recover the issue state.
• If the alarm log persists or reappears after a few days, we should proceed with processing the RMA for the affected PEM as a hardware fault.
