[Junos Space] [SDI] How to reset log collector database password on Security director insight

Description

This KB article will help you with steps to reset log collector database password on SDI server

Symptoms

Unable to add SDI as log collector under logging nodes (SD UI ->Global Domain-> Administration -> Logging Management -> logging nodes) due to incorrect admin user password.

Error while retrieving data. Log Collector Authentication Failure

Solution

Step 1: Login on SDI server as admin user and follow below steps

Step 2: sdi-lc-pe:Core# applications 
        sdi-lc-pe:Core#(applications)# set log-collector password 
        Enter the new password for SD Log Collector access: x.x.x
        Retype the new password: x.x.x
        Successfully changed password for SD Log Collector database access
        sdi-lc-pe:Core#(applications)#

Step 3: Now you can add the log collector back to logging nodes (SD UI -> Administration -> Logging Management -> logging nodes)
