Description

The customer reported a traffic loss after performing an EVPN DF switchover in an Active/Standby scenario with the mac-pinning feature enabled on the CE interface.

Symptoms

Total traffic drop after EVPN DF switchover in A/S with mac-pinning enabled on the CE interface
The traffic loss is due to the PE not being able to learn the ARP/NDP of the CE if the source of the ARP/NDP MAC address has already been learned and pinned.
