Customer had to move a link which uses a 10G DWDM tuneable SFP+ module, installed in a QSA adapter from the MX to the PTX.

The interface had config to set wavelength as "wavelength 1529.55", but the setpoint slips to 1550.10nm automatically.

It was resolved only after deact/act of opitcs-options.

After adding SFP:

Wavelength setpoint : 1550.10 nm

After the workaround:

Wavelength setpoint : 1529.55 nm

Config:

optics-options {

wavelength 1529.55;

}

The tuneable SFP customer was using is not supported on PTX10001-36MR (its supported on MX1003)

Pls find the platforms which support part 740-053356 & the SFPs supported by PTX10001-36MR below.

Hence this is not a bug & unexpected behaviour is due to lack for support for the SFP in box.

If you install unsupported SFP on the platform, it may work, but you may see mis-behaviours.
