For MIC-3D-80C30C12-40C48 MIC:
If MIC-3D-80C30C12-40C48 MIC is used in combination with SCBE3s on the device, the MIC will not power on. The FPC PIC status will show the PIC as offline, and a syslog message will be generated as PIC is not supported.

For MPCE Type 2 3D
MPCE Type 2 3D will remain offline in the PIC status output. This scenario occurs when the MPCE Type 2 3D is used with SCBE3.
It seems the behavior is due to using SCBE3s on the device. SCBE3s operate in Hyper-mode by default. When we install MICs and PICs on MPCs that are in normal mode with the Hyper-mode feature enabled, those MICs and PICs do not power on. The MIC-3D-8OC3OC12-4OC48 is one of the MICs that does not support forwarding in Hyper-mode.

Hyper-mode is the default forwarding mode on the SCBE3-MX. If your deployment does not need hyper-mode, disable hyper-mode using the set forwarding-options no-hyper-mode cli command before installing the Routing Engine into the SCBE3-MX.
Rebooting both REs is required after changing the forwarding mode from hyper-mode to normal mode.
Once the forwarding mode is change to normal mode, the MIC-3D-8OC3OC12-4OC48 should come online .
MPC2E card is not supported with SCBE3, regardless of the Junos code.
MPC2E-NG card support is available with SCBE3.
